Former Lost writer and perpetual fanboy-hate machine Damon Lindelof spilled way more information than he should have to Ben Mortimer of HeyUGuys. Lindelof said the upcoming Star Trek Into Darkness will plant the seeds for a larger conflict with the Kligons in Star Trek 3.
“You can never see enough Klingons, and I think in this film we’ve given the audience a little taste,” The probably tipsy screenwriter said, “but there’s also a promise that there’s a larger conflict on the horizon, and that would be fun to see.”
“Draw your own conclusions my friend,” Lindelof said in response to a follow-up, all but confirming Klingon villains for Star Trek 3.
So now not only do you have Star Trek Into Darkness spoiled, but the follow up film as well. Thanks Internet! You never fail to take the fun and mystery out of everything! The only way I can enjoy Into Darkness now is if I see Chris Pine drunkenly shouting “KHAAAAAN!”
