Don’t you hate it when extremely talented actors jump on cash grab franchises? This seems to be the case once again with the next Ttransformers sequel. The last Transformers film had monumental talents such as John Malkovich and Francis McDormand. Sadly, both actors were given two-dimensional characters to handle, thus wasting the whole purpose of having them in the movie.

Stanley Tucci Joins Transformers 4So when I hear SuperheroHype say “Stanley Tucci joins Transformers 4”, all I do is find more reasons to hate Michael Bay. The announcement came from Michael Bay himself during a presentation at CinemaCon. I understand this is a popular franchise but actors like Stanley Tucci can do so much better. Who knows? Maybe this will end up being the most respected Transformers film of them all.

Tranformers 4 is said to be a continuation of the first three films and takes place several years after the events of Dark of the Moon. Mark Wahlberg has taken over as the lead role with Shia Labeouf moving on. Here is a story description as reported by IGN:

“As humanity picks up the pieces, following the conclusion of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Autobots and Decepticons have all but vanished from the face of the planet. However, a group of powerful, ingenious businessman and scientists attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control – all while an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs. The epic adventure and battle between good and evil, freedom and enslavement ensues.”
