There’s been quite a bit of buzz what the fans would see at the end of Iron Man 3 end credits, with many believing that Tony Stark would receive a signal from deep space, and join up with the Guardians of the Galaxy for their own solo movie. However, some recent tweets from Edgar Wright, the director of the upcoming Ant-Man adaptation has made some people re-consider.

April 9th 2012:

“Aside from The World’s End, I directed one shot in another summer movie. But which? #IProbablyWillNotTell

Twelve minutes later, he posted this enigmatic second tweet.

“Yeah. Some of you got it right.”

Wright debuted a short video of test footage for Ant-Man at last year’s San Diego Comic-Con, and the video recently was leaked online to an overwhelmingly positive response from the fans. While the higher quality versions of the trailer have been taken down, you can see a lower-quality version here.

While Ant-Man would be the most logical choice for what Wright’s mystery one-shot project would be, it also could be too obvious. Remember, he said only some of the fans got it. Who knows? Maybe he just did what Tarantino did with Sin City and just direct one shot of a friend’s film. Or he could just be throwing us all for a loop!

What do you think Wright’s tweets mean? Do you think that it means an Ant-Man cameo in the Iron Man 3 end credits? Why don’t you just tell us what you think in the comments below?
