Deadline is reporting that Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi film Interstellar has found another star as Oscar-winning actress Anne Hathaway joins the cast.

This will be the second time that Hathaway will be working in a Christopher Nolan film. Last year she became the latest in a long line of beautiful women to play the coveted role of Selina Kyle/Catwoman in Nolan’s final Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises. It’s not really a surprise to see her back for Nolan’s latest film. Nolan frequently brings back actors that he’s collaborated with in the past. He’s one of those directors that seems to inspire a deep sense of loyalty.

Anne Hathaway joins cast

This will also be one of the first roles that Hathaway has taken since winning the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for her part in Les Miserables. By pairing up with Nolan for a second time, this looks like she’ll be avoiding the “Oscar curse.”

Anne Hathaway joins the cast alongside Matthew McConaughey in Interstellar. However, details on the project are sparse, since Nolan and his team work very secretively on every project.

What do you think of the news that Anne Hathaway joins the cast of Interstellar? Do you think that she’ll work well for the role? Why don’t you just tell us what you think in the comments below?
