Anticipation is high for Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, his first movie since finishing his tenure with Batman and the Dark Knight trilogy. With the brilliance of both The Prestige and Inception – the two movies he shot in between Batman outings, there is little doubt that Interstellar has good odds of being something special. Now the Interstellar website is live, although there is nothing there yet.
Actually, there is one thing on the site (http://www.interstellarmovie.com/) – a couple of links to sign up for Facebook and Twitter updates, and who doesn’t love official updates? It also has the release date.
There have also been some strong rumors that indicate that the first Interstellar trailer is not far away, and possibly playing before The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug when it opens this weekend. The trailer is 01:43 and there is no word on whether it is on all prints or just on the IMAX version of The Hobbit. With Christopher Nolan, you never know.
Interstellar stars Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck and John Lithgow and opens in theaters on Nov. 7, 2014.
