Mother fu**ing Sam Jackson is going to play the mother fu**ing bad guy in the next mother fu**ing Mark Millar comic adaptation.
The film, entitled The Secret Service, will also reportedly feature Colin Firth, newcomer Taron Egerton and Michael Caine. Millar always wanted a big name to play the bad guy, with Tom Cruise and Leonardo DiCaprio having previously passed on the role. Emma Watson and Bella Heathcote are currently each being considered for the female lead.
The comic was illustrated by Watchmen artist Dave Gibbons and is essentially Mark Millar’s signature over-the-top take on the spy genre. The film rights to the comic are currently held by Kick-Ass helmer Matthew Vaughn.
I’m not familiar with the comic, like all Millar’s work these days it was pooped out as a proof of concept to make a film. But anything with Millar and mother fu**ing Sam Jackson has my attention. I really wish they’d get on with Millar’s Nemesis film, however.
