It is a great time to be a Stephen King fan. With the new remake of Carrie coming out this summer, and at least three more movies in the works, there is a lot coming. Television is also ripe for his work, with Haven getting renewed, Under the Dome starting up next month and rumors of an 11/22/63 television series underway.

Now, if we can only get the Dark Tower as an HBO series.

With Under the Dome just a month away, more information is coming and a brand new trailer with a cover version of “Under the Watchtower” playing, we see some more shots from the upcoming series.

Honestly, this looks a lot like the kind of story we saw in Jericho, which was cancelled before its time. A community, in this case a small town, is shut off from the rest of the world and has to survive on its own. This happens when a large invisible dome appears around the town that won’t let anything in and can withstand a speeding truck or plane.

Brian K. Vaughn (Lost, Y: The Last Man) developed the TVĀ seriesĀ and it looks pretty incredible. Check out the Under the Dome TV spot and prepare for its premiere on Jun 24 at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
