Bruce Campbell blew the minds of many Evil Dead fans this week. The Chin told fans at a question and answer session following the conclusion of the remake of Evil Dead that he was considering a crossover of his Evil Dead movie and the new one directed by Fede Alvarez.

There is a minor spoiler as to who survives the new Evil Dead movie in the following awesome Bruce Campbell announcement.

Basically, Campbell said that he wants to see seven movies in the entire Evil Dead franchise (which could make a very cool box set, complete with the actual Necronomicon). We already have The Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn, Army of Darkness and Evil Dead.

That means three more movies. Campbell said that he would love for Alvarez to create a sequel of his own, and Alvarez said he is already wanting to work on writing that sequel. Of course, there is the news from last month that Sam Raimi was planning on working on Army of Darkness 2, which hopefully picks up from the ending where Ash oversleeps.

That would put us at six movies.

Then Bruce Campbell dropped the bomb. He said the plan is to make the seventh movie, one where his character of Ash and the Alvarez created character of Jane team up in one explosive finale. What do you think? Are you ready for not one, or two, but three more Evil Dead movies and the final explosive team up?
