Quentin Tarantino is coming to Comic-Con 2014. While he doesn’t have a movie coming out, and hasn’t even announced that he is making a specific one yet, he will be there for a completely different reason. Deadline reported on Friday that Tarantino will be at Dynamite Entertainment’s panel promoting his upcoming comic book which combines Django Unchained with Zorro.

Dynamite, in association with DC Comics, will release the comic books later this year, written by Matt Wagner based on a story by Quentin Tarantino. Both writers will be on hand to answer fan questions about the project.

However, it is almost a guarantee that fans will want to know about something else. Kurt Russell let it slip last week that Hateful Eight will start shooting in 2015. That news comes just six months after Tarantino said he was shelving the movie and refused to shoot it after one of his actors leaked an early draft of the script and it hit online.

Someone is going to ask Tarantino if the movie is shooting next year or not. Whether the director answers or not is another story.

Fans can see the Dynamite Entertainment panel at Comic-Con 2014 on Sunday July 27 at 2:15 p.m. in Room 6BCF.
