According to unnamed source of Comic Book Movie, Lost actor Josh Holloway is reportedly being considered for a role in Batman vs. Superman.  They don’t specify what role Holloway is allegedly up for but are quick to theorize that he could end up playing Aquaman.  This is just the latest in an admittedly staggering amount of rumors that have surrounded the picture since it’s announcement at Comic-Con so this latest bit of information should also be taken with a grain of salt.

Personally as far as Aquaman goes, I really don’t see it.  By Comic Book Movie’s own admission, they are purely speculating and there have already been reports that Aquaman isn’t even supposed to be making an appearance in Batman vs. Superman anyway.

Frankly, if it turns out to be true that he’s being approached by Warner Brothers, I’m inclined to think it’s with a different DC property altogether.  Warner Brothers has already announced their plans to make a couple of smaller budgeted DC movies every year not to mention a Flash movie.

There’s also the possibility that he could fill the unconfirmed role of the secondary villain in Batman vs. Superman especially since Jason Mamoa has already taken the liberty of denying his involvement with the film.  At this point, I’m not sure anything would surprise me anymore.  Of course, it’s far more likely that all of this turns out to be absolute hogwash but for now let’s have some fun with the speculation.

Do you think Josh Holloway would be a good choice to play Aquaman?  Should he play another role in the DC Universe?  Should he be in Batman vs. Superman at all?  Sound off in the comment section below.
