So, everyone knows that Guardians of the Galaxy is one of the next movies from Marvel Films, and most people know by now that they are based on outer space. Some even know that one of the members of the team is a raccoon with a big gun. But, if you are one of the many (many) people who know nothing else about them, Marvel has a good deal for you.

Last week, Guardians of the Galaxy #0.1 went on sale and you could buy it and learn the origin of Star-Lord, the leader of the team that Chris Pratt will play in the movie. However, if you want to learn about the other members of the team, it won’t cost you a penny if you read comics on a tablet or your computer.

Through the Marvel Comics app or ComiXology app, Marvel will release individual comic shorts based on each of the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy team. The comics will come out bi-weekly and this week’s issue is about Drax, the character that Batista and Jason Momoa are battling to play.

The other three free issues that will hit include stories about Rocket Raccoon, Groot and Gamora. Every two weeks a new issue hits the apps and then on March 27, Guardians of the Galaxy #1 hits stores. By the time the movie hits, you should know all you need to about this new (for movies) super hero team.
