Jessica Chastain is definitely one of the best actresses working today. Her decision to take on powerful roles in films such as Tree of Life and Zero Dark Thirty has launched her as one of the most high profiled actresses in the business. So it’s not a surprise that Christopher Nolan has his eye on her.
Deadline received the scoop saying she is in negotiations to play the third lead alongside Matthew MConaughey and Anne Hathaway. There appears to be a continuing trend with Chris Nolan with putting together great ensemble cast, which is alright by me. Also, Deadline says Michael Caine has officially joined the film as well. Big surprise right? Hooray for team Nolan!
Whenever a Nolan film emerges it always feels like such a huge event, and with this cast announcement, it definitely seems like we have something special on the way. I truly cannot wait o see Nolan’s space-age opus hit IMAX theaters.
Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar is written by his brother Jonah Nolan and is said to be about ” a heroic interstellar voyage to the farthest borders of our scientific understanding.”
Interstellar hits theaters November 7th, 2014!
