For anyone who thought that Guardians of the Galaxy was going to be just another generic space based sci-fi movie, well you haven’t been paying attention. If you want more proof that this, look no further than the new Guardians of the Galaxy trailer, where the bizarre and goofy rules the day.

Well, that was definitely interesting. We get the arrogance of Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) that we have already seen but then we get two songs this time around, including both “Hooked on a Feeling” and “Spirit in the Sky.” We also hear Bradley Cooper voicing Rocket Raccoon and Vin Diesel voicing Groot for the first time. There was also some nice comic touches in the interaction between the Guardians of the Galaxy.
From the music, to the interactions between the characters, this new Guardians of the Galaxy trailer shows that this is not only different than almost any space movie you have seen, but a completely different feel from the other Marvel movies. That is not surprising coming from director James Gunn.
