Marvel fans have been hoping for another Hulk movie basically since Marvel’s The Avengers premiered two years ago. Sadly, Marvel has been slow to pull the trigger so far but if Lou Ferrigno (AKA the Incredible Hulk himself) is to believed that may finally change. According to Ferrigno, the Hulk will getting a solo film sometime after Avengers: Age of Ultron.
No offense to Mr. Ferrigno, but I’m not ready to take his word for it just yet. This isn’t exactly the first time a new Hulk movie has been rumored but it’s resulted in nothing concrete as of yet.
I can’t say I blame Marvel too much for their hesitation. They’ve gotten to a point where they can take some risks (Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man) and it might not necessarily be the best idea to take another shot on a property with a track record for mediocre returns. The reality is that the Hulk has already had two movies made in a little over a decade. The first one has been largely forgotten at best and the second one has been greatly overshadowed by the other Avenger films and is Marvel’s least successful movie by far. Don’t get me wrong, I would love to see another Hulk film but I’m not exactly holding my breath at this point.

If they are doing another Hulk movie they need to get another actor to play Bruce Banner because Mark Ruffalo doesn’t seem to be playing Banner that well and not showing as any interest in the character. If they would of stay with Edward Norton it would of been better with Norton playing Bruce Banner in all the Hulk films because to be realistic Edward Norton was more into Bruce Banner than Mark Ruffalo is. And Ruffalo is not experience including not the right fit for Bruce Banner like Norton is
In the first place why did they hire Mark Ruffalo for in the Avengers? But to say this Marvel Studio didn’t hire the right actor for the role of Hulk/ Bruce Banner in The Avengers movies. If they do another Hulk solo they to either Bring back Edward Norton or hire another actor that looks just like Ed Norton or Bill Bixby.
I need to write a letter to marvel studio to remind them to hire another actor to play Bruce Banner / Hulk in the New Hulk films or The Avengers so they replace Mark Ruffalo.
