Highbrow or not, the Jackass films have always done relatively well at the box office. The crews’s newest flick, centered around the conceit of an 86 year old man traveling the country with his grandson performing hidden camera stunts and gags, managed to topple Gravity from the #1 spot this weekend. Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa raked in a cool $32M upon opening; with its reported production budget of about $15M, it’s already doubled down into profitable territory. That doesn’t mean that Gravity has slowed down all that much; it’s pretty much doubled its production budget as of this weekend with a haul of over $20M to bring its cume to just about $200M. Here the full breakdown of the weekend top ten:

What did you guys and gals see this week? What are you planning on seeing next weekend, which brings us Ender’s Game, About Time and (ugh) Last Vegas? Me? I’ll probably be watching some old horror flicks pulled straight from my DVD shelves. Have a great Halloween!
