A pretty cool announcement hit my inbox this morning. It looks like the band MUSE will be playing live for the London premiere of the upcoming Brad Pitt zombie flick World War Z. A World War Z Muse team-up is really something to get excited about.

Of course, this isn’t the first time MUSE has played for a zombie movie, as they provided the awesome remixed version of “Shrinking Universe” for 28 Weeks Later. Now, they are coming back to the zombie genre for this new adaptation of the Max Brooks (son of Mel Brooks) penned novel.

According to the press release, following the World War Z premiere in London on June 2, MUSE will perform live from the Horse Guards Parade Ground at St. James’s Park. Here is a look at the video announcement for the live concert:

WORLD WAR Z revolves around ex-United Nations investigator Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop a pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Starring Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, and James Badge Dale.

Since this announcement was about MUSE’s involvement with the London premiere of World War Z, I’ll take the time here to make sure you have all seen the amazing video for PANIC STATION.
