Underworld has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. This week, the fifth movie in the series – Underworld: Blood Wars – comes out in theaters and it looks like a little more of the same old awesome werewolf vs. vampires with giant f*n guns that we have come to expect.
Kate Beckinsale is back for her fifth foray into the character of Selene, a former vampire death dealer who is now like some kind of superhuman hybrid. She did a recent interview where she talked about her evolution with the character, from the first movie where she was a soldier for the vampires to Underworld: Blood Wars where she is hunted by both vampires and lycans.

The next installment in the blockbuster franchise, Underworld: Blood Wars follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.
