Moana is the second Disney animated movie of 2016 following the fantastic Zootopia. The film stars the voice talent of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and newcomer Auli‘i Cravalho as Moana. Disney just released a brand new trailer for the movie and Renegade Cinema has it for you.

The first Moana trailers that have been screening most of the year have just shown the Demigod Maui (The Rock) telling Moana who he is and there was no clue to what the story was about. This Moana trailer actually shows the plot: Moana is a hero who has to find the Demigod Maui and save her land from danger.

Moana comes out this Thanksgiving as Disney looks to continue their successful run of animated movies (Zootopia, Big Hero 6, Frozen, Wreck-It Ralph, Winnie the Pooh, and Tangled were the last six Disney animated movies, a perfect 100-percent).

Here is a look at the synopsis on Moana, which hits theaters on Nov. 23.

Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one knows exactly why. From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli‘i Cravalho) meets the mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity.
