Christophe Gans, the director who made the amazing fantasy movie The Brotherhood of the Wolf, is back with a new take on the classic fairy tale Beauty and the Beast. The French film comes out in select U.S. theaters on Set. 23.

All screenings are in French with subtitles, but from the looks of the trailer, this is a movie that film lovers can’t miss. If you haven’t seen Brotherhood of the Wolf (or even the American video game movie Silent Hill), Gans is a brilliant visual storyteller with great style and Beauty and the Beast looks no different.

Check out the Beauty and the Beast trailer below and a synopsis and list of the available cities follow.
