Gotham is only a few weeks away as FOX brings us the origin story of Gotham City in the years following the death of Bruce Wayne’s parents. Instead of really seeing how Bruce Wayne becomes Batman, we see how James Gordon becomes the best cop in the city that is disintegrating from the overwhelming crime. This will be accomplished by showing the origin story of a number of Batman’s biggest villains.
A brand new Gotham promo video was just released with a look at Oswald Cobblepot, the man who one day becomes the villain The Penguin. The promo looks at some scenes from the show as well as short interview clips with Robin Lord Taylor, the actor who plays Cobblepot, as well as Ben McKenzie (James Gordon) and show runner Bruno Heller.
Honestly, this looks pretty awesome and the show seems to be getting more and more interesting the more the network releases of it. Gotham premieres on Sept. 22 on FOX and also stars Donal Logue, Sean Pertwee, Zabryna Guevara, Erin Richards, David Mazouz, Camren Bicondova, David Zayas, and Jada Pinkett Smith.
