WWE Monday Night Raw opened with The Shield already in the ring. Dean Ambrose admits they got their butts kicked last week, and that happens, but they are standing tall and wants Evolution. Seth Rollins then said they are not running from Evolution, they are running to Evolution and questioned the manhood of the members of Evolution. He said that they were really good in their time. Roman Reigns then said that Evolution beat them down last week and asked if that was all they got? He said they will teach Evolution to believe in The Shield and to believe in him.

Evolution showed up in a limo in the back and The Shield ran to the back and jumped Evolution as they were walking away from the car. Officials had to pull back The Shield and Evolution was left lying in the parking garage.

Rob Van Dam vs. Jack Swagger

Rob Van Dam is out immediately following that for the next match. Back from commercial, and Zeb Colter is already in the ring talking and mentions the Adam Rose appearance from last week. Just as soon as the bell rings, Adam Rose’s music starts and the Rose Buds accompany Rose to the ring. Rose goes to the second rope and when Swagger charges, Rose crowd dives into his Rose Buds. By the time they finish, Swagger turns into a Van Dam superkick and one frog splash later, Van Dam wins. On a side note, Van Dam looks like he might have found his people.

Winner: Rob Van Dam (**)

Paige vs. Alicia Fox

Alicia Fox didn’t get an entrance. She is taking on Alicia Fox just one week after Fox lost in the first round of the NXT Women’s title tournament. Fox has a mic and said that Paige doesn’t fit in, no one likes Paige, and they want Paige to get out. Then, Fox sucker punched Paige with the mic. This was before the match started. Finally, Paige said she was ready, so the ref rang the bell and Fox attacked her again. She picked up Paige and just threw her out of the ring. Fox dominated the match but made one mistake and Paige stole the pin. After the match, Fox flipped out. She destroyed the announcer’s table, sprayed an energy drink all over fans at ringside and finally stole JBL’s hat and wore it out.

Winner: Paige (**)

Back from commercial and Daniel Bryan is already on his way to the ring. Some fans start chanting “No” and then everyone else starts chanting “Yes.” Daniel Bryan said that must be what it is like to be John Cena. Daniel Bryan is starting to tear up and said he is having to undergo neck surgery this week and there is a chance that his career could be finished. But, he said that it won’t be. He said that he will come back and the fans explode for him.

John Cena and The Usos vs. The Wyatt Family

The match was a great one, with The Wyatt Family dominating most of the match. The end was really good, as John Cena locked Erick Rowan in the STF, only for Bray Wyatt to break up the hold. Bray then went for the Sister Abigail’s Kiss. Just as he delivered the kiss, one of the Usos hit a superkick to save Cena. The Usos then sent Luke Harper out of the ring, tossed Bray Wyatt and then hit the double suicide dive onto them. Cena then hit the Attitude Adjustment on Rowan to win. After the match, Bray Wyatt thanked Cena for showing him what he needed to do and then said Follow the Buzzards.

Winners: John Cena and The Usos (** ½)

Evolution comes out next. Randy Orton said that he has had enough and he feels it is time to take off the gloves and put the Hounds of Justice to sleep. Triple H said they would humble Dean Ambrose, cut the wings off of Seth Rollins and make an example of Roman Reigns. Triple H said they would have a rematch at WWE Payback and Roman Reigns would not return from that event. In the middle of one of Triple H’s sentences, Seth Rollins flew into the ring and nailed him from behind. The Shield beat down Evolution again. After that, Triple H took a miz, but Batista took the mic from him and challenged Roman Reigns to a match tonight.

Nikki Bella vs. Natalya

The Funkadactyls, Brie Bella and Eva Marie are at ringside holding cards with numbers on it. This match is because Natalya painted a painting for Nikki Bella as a present, and Nikki made fun of it, hurting Natalya’s feelings. Natalya was very aggressive in the match. The girls outside the ring seemed to be grading moves. This angle and match makes no sense because Nikki was just mean and is acting like she is the good guy in the match. Nikki won and Natalya is still acting really depressed.

Winner: Nikki Bella (*)

Sheamus vs. Curtis Axel

Curtis Axel and Ryback flipped a coin to determine who would fight Sheamus. Axel won. This is a non-title match. The match was kind of boring an ended with Sheamus making Axel tap out to the cloverleaf. After the bell rang, Sheamus kept it locked in and Ryback attacked him from behind. He challenged Sheamus to a match and it looks like that will happen.

Winner: Sheamus (1/2 *)

Sheamus vs. Ryback

This match was a lot better than the one with Curtis Axel. The reason it was so much better was because Ryback was allowed to look very strong against Sheamus. The end came when Curtis Axel distracted Sheamus, allowing Ryback to get the big meat hook clothesline. Ryback went for the Shell Shock, but Sheamus rolled out and hit the Brogue Kick for the win.

Winner: Sheamus (**)

Stephanie McMahon is out next on WWE Monday Night Raw and looks really happy. She said that Daniel Bryan did everything he said that he did and it put Bryan out of action. McMahon said that proves that Daniel Bryan in not an A+ player because his body can’t do what his heart wants him to do. She calls out Daniel Bryan. Kane’s pyro explodes instead and Kane drags Bryan out from the back unconscious and leaves him lying on the stage. Stephanie acted like she was totally shocked and Brie pushed her and told her to stay away.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Fandango

The match was pretty good, with both guys looking solid in the match. Dolph Ziggler hit the Fameasser but only got a two count. Layla jumped up on the ring apron and started yelling at Ziggler. It distracted Ziggler long enough for Fandango to hit a big dropkick but only got two. Layla tried to jump down but caught her foot in the ring apron. That distracted Fandango, so Ziggler hit the Zig Zag for the win. Layla was scared after her man lost, but Fandango said while he lost to Ziggler, he won and Layla won because she won Fandango’s heart.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler (***)

Hacksaw Jim Duggan is out next. The WWE Monday Night Raw fans are chanting “USA” and “HOOO!” When Duggan started his promo, Lana’s music started. She said that Duggan is just like America. America is just like Britain, whose empire crumbled, and China has passed America as the most successful and riches country in the world. The fans are really getting after Lana (thanks to probably Hacksaw Duggan). She once again labels Vladimir Putin the best ruler in the world. Hacksaw Duggan then gets a giant “USA” chant going. Lana said that proves the inferiority of the United State. Rusev is out. Hacksaw is ready with his 2×4. Lana tells Duggan he has one chance – to beg for mercy. Duggan starts a USA chant so Rusev grabs the 2×4 and breaks it in half. “Rusev Crush!” Big E runs down for the save. Rusev quickly hammers Big E and Big E is down and out of the ring.

Damien Sandow vs. Cody Rhodes

Damien Sandow is on his way to the ring when we are back from commercial. Sandow cut his own pipe bomb on the Raw pre-show. He has the mic in his hand and said that he has a lot to say and maybe he will say it now. He is interrupted by Cody Rhodes’ music. Sandow is facing his old tag team partner while Cody is still looking like he is turning on his brother Goldust anytime now. However, Sandow dominated a lot of the match until Goldust distracted the referee, Cody raked Sandow’s eyes and hit the Beautiful Disaster kick for the win. Even after the match when they showed it on the Titan Tron, Goldust looked proud despite Cody cheating.

Winner: Cody Rhodes (** ½)

Bray Wyatt promo from backstage is next on WWE Monday Night Raw. He pretty much challenges John Cena to a Last Man Standing Match at WWE Payback.

Roman Reigns vs. Batista

This WWE Monday Night Raw match was a good battle of big men, with moments where both factions threatened to tear things apart. Roman went for the move where he gets his opponent’s head in the ropes and runs from the outside to kick him but Triple H and Randy Orton stood in the way. This caused Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to head in the ring and hit suicide dives. They battle around the ring while Reigns sets up for the Superman punch. Triple H grabs his leg and pulls him out. He sets up the Pedigree on the floor but Seth Rollins flies over Reigns’ back to hit Triple H. They have all three members of Evolution down in the ring when Stephanie McMahon runs out and signals for all the bad guys to run down to attack.

They beat down Reigns and Rollins and throw them from the ring. Triple H comes in with a chair while the hold a beaten down Reigns. When Triple H moves in, Reigns breaks free and spears Triple H. Rollins and Ambrose are now in the ring with chairs and just destroy everyone. Ambrose hits his finisher on Fandango onto a chair and then Rollins does the same to Curtis Axel. Reigns then hits the superman punch to Heath Slater and the spear to Ryback. The Shield then hit the Triple Powerbomb onto Ryback as Evolution watches on.

Winner: Double Disqualification (***)
