Marvel President Kevin Feige stated a few months back that the studio had films planned as far ahead as 2021.  In the meantime however, it appears that Marvel has taken that strategy a giant step further by reportedly expanding their tentative Marvel movies plans through 2028.

Depending on the their success, Marvel’s plans could include solo Marvel movies for some of the characters from Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Age of Ultron.  The plans for Guardians of the Galaxy spin-offs seem a little premature at the moment but I’ll take this over DC’s game plan (or lack thereof) any day of the week.

Of course, these plans aren’t set in stone and an endless list of things can happen between now and 2028.  Nevertheless, it’s fun to speculate on just what Marvel has planned for the future.  There have already been reports that a Black Widow film is in development but what other ideas have they got up their sleeve?  Could they be working on films for Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver?  Perhaps Vision?  How about War Machine?  Maybe they’ll finally make a Hulk film for Mark Ruffalo.

Is Marvel getting ahead of themselves?  What Marvel movies do you think they have planned?  What character do you think is deserving of a movie?  Tell us what you think in the comment section below.
