DIRECTOR’S TOP 10 MOVIES

Top 10 Movies

Film Junk.com has published Sight & Sound’s fascinating top 10 movies list from a variety of notable filmmakers including  Woody Allen, Frank Coppola, Michael Mann, Marty Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino to name a few. Some of the selections are common among filmmakers, like Citizen Kane and Goodfellas, while others are quite surprising, especially some of the recurring titles like the 1960 Billy Wilder film, The Apartment and the 1993 comedy Groundhog Day.  A notable mention of this latest poll is that Citizen Kane has been knocked down from being the “greatest film of all time” by Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo.
