There were a lot of rumors about whether or not the Marvel One-Shot from the Thor: The Dark World Blu-ray, All Hail the King, would be about Loki or The Mandarin. Well, I just received an email with some nice images that proves that it is indeed about The Mandarin, or more specifically Trevor Slattery, the actor who pretended to be The Mandarin in Iron Man 3.
Now, there is even more rumors wondering if this is where we learn that Slattery is actually The Mandarin and was only pretending to be an actor to escape harsher punishment. That could be cool, but I am one of the people who loved the twist with him being an actor pretending to be a terrorist and I don’t think I want Slattery to be The Mandarin.
What I would love is for The Mandarin to be real and pissed at Slattery for imitating him. This would give the real Mandarin a chance for revenge. That is the story I want to see. We will all see it when Thor: The Dark World hits Blu-ray on Feb. 25.
