Walker was currently shooting Fast & Furious 7 for the franchise’s new director James Wan. The movie had already shot scenes in Atlanta and was scheduled to move on to Abu Dhabi in January. The film was set for a July 2014 release.

It is unclear right now whether the movie will continue into production with them possibly re-writing the film without Walker, or if it will shut down production. Of course, none of that is important because what matters here is that a man has died.

Walker started his acting career at the age of two when he began modeling pampers diapers. He also worked as a child actor on shows like Highway to Heaven, Who’s the Boss and Touched by an Angel before moving on to movies, with Monster in the Closet as his debut.

He started to see more success with supporting roles in movies like Pleasantville, Varsity Blues, She’s All That and The Skulls. The true breakout for Paul Walker came when he took on the role of Brian O’Connor in the Fast & Furious franchise alongside Vin Diesel.

His Hurricane Katrina based drama Hours hits theaters on Dec. 13.
