Not much of a surprise at this weekend’s box office as Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 took the top spot, raking in approximately $35M in its debut. (Read the Renegade Review here.) Not sure if the studio managers and pundits expected more, especially given the projected budget of about $78M. In other debuts, Ron Howard’s Rush took 3rd place with a little over $10M.
