Last month it was announced that the man who was originally hired for the Thor: The Dark World score, Carter Burwell, left the project. This week, Marvel announced that Brian Tyler will be the man to replace Burwell for the Thor: The Dark World score.
Tyler was also the man who handled the music to Marvel’s other blockbuster from this year, Iron Man 3. He will also be scoring the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot. Some of his past credits include Battle: Los Angeles, The Killing Room, and Darkness Falls, and Now You See Me, which is currently in theaters.
Marvel cited that Burwell had left the project due to “creative differences,” though there isn’t much known beyond that fact. .
Thor: The Dark World will be arriving in theaters November 8th of this year, and will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios.
