The new Hunger Games Catching Fire teaser trailer aired during the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, introduced my star Liam Hemsworth to an adoring audience.
The trailer really helped show those who are not knowledgeable about the books what to expect, and that the movie is really not so much about the games of the first, as it is about the revolution and the battles between the have’s and have not’s of the real world.
We see Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss unsure of her place in this growing revolution, President Snow’s thoughts that she should die to prevent social unrest, and the first look at Philip Seymour Hoffman’s Plutarch Heavensbee as he sits in as President Snow’s right hand man. It also shows that the violence is as bad as it ever was.
One comment to fans of the book: It looks like they are changing why the 75th Annual Hunger Games takes place from the looks of the trailer. Those who have read the books will know what I mean.
