Like Smallville before it, Arrow has been making use of the shared DC universe by bringing in more characters. Up until this point, they’ve mainly used a wide variety of villains, but one of the showrunners may have indicated that Ted Kord, a DC Comics hero, may be coming to Starling City.
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim recently tweeted this image below.
“Check out what our art department has whipped up for an upcoming episode of
#Arrow… pic.twitter.com/BUfwW69Kqi” @mguggenheim
To those familiar with the DC Universe, Kord Industries is owned by the character Ted Kord, the second Blue Beetle and a member of the Justice League .
Ted Kord would be a good fit for the show. Even if they don’t decide to show Ted as an active Blue Beetle, they can certainly show the character. Maybe Oliver can actually use some of the Kord Industries gadgets?
What do you think of the idea of the Blue Beetle or just Ted Kord appearin gin Arrow? Do you like the idea? Why don’t you just tell us what you think in the comments below?

As a big DC Universe fan, I’m
glad to see Kord Industries make its way to Arrow—especially season one. I work
at DISH with friends who love DC comics, too, so they’re just as excited as I
am. I love what the series has done so far, and I never miss an episode when it
airs. Even when I’m not at home, I can watch my live or recorded TV with my
DISH Anywhere app, so I don’t have to worry about waiting or falling behind on
my lineup.
