As AMC closes the door on Breaking Bad this Summmer, questions begin to raise about what can replace such a high caliber show. How about a Breaking Bad spin-off? Deadline suggest this might just be the case. Arguably, the most recognizable character in the show, Saul Goodman played by Odenkirk, is said to have his own show in development right after Breaking Bad finishes its run.

According to the report, nothing is officially set in stone yet, however, Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and show writer Peter Gould- who both came up with the Saul Goodman role- are said to be on board to carry out the Breaking Bad spin-off. This is a good sign for the show’s potential if these two gentlemen are in fact developing the program.

Bob Odenkirk is one of the refreshing aspects in the serious tale of Walter White. I’m not sure how a Saul Goodman series would work but if Gilligan and crew are taking part, the skies the limit. For now, we have to press on and keep waiting for the series finale of Breaking Bad this Summer.
