Are you ready for the Only God Forgives red band trailer?
Nicolas Winding Refn and Ryan Gosling are teaming up again, but instead of focusing on a professional getaway driver in Los Angeles like they did in Drive, they’ll be making an equally strange film in Only God Forgives.

The Only God Forgives red band trailer here is a bit vague on the story, but there’s no denying it’s got some power behind it. Here’s the premise, courtesy of Indiewire’s The Playlist.
“Julian lives in exile in Bangkok where he runs a Thai boxing club as a front for the family’s drugs smuggling operation. When Julian’s brother Billy is killed, their mother, Jenna, arrives in the city. She wants revenge and forces Julian to find the killer. Julian’s contacts in the criminal underworld lead him directly to The Angel of Vengeance, a retired police officer who knows everything and who is both Judge and Punisher. Jenna demands that Julian kill The Angel of Vengeance, an act that will cost him dearly.”
At the moment, it looks like Only God Forgives doesn’t have a US release date, but it’s set to debut in France this May. Here’s hoping that changes later on. I’m sold by this trailer, and I’d love to see the film. I really did enjoy Drive and Bronson both, and I think this will be an excellent
