While not everyone is sold on her, the new Gal Gadot Wonder Woman deal is for three movies so people will have to at least get used to her. According to reports, Gardot will play Wonder Woman in Batman vs. Superman, Justice League and a solo-Wonder Woman movie.
The Batman vs. Superman and Justice League movies were obvious, but this is the first time I have heard that a Wonder Woman movie was serious enough to include in Gadot’s contract. The news broke last week that the Wonder Woman television show has been axed, so that might have opened the door for a movie.
It was Gal Gadot herself who revealed the details of her contract with Warner Bros. While someone like Sam Jackson signed a multi-picture deal with Marvel to play Nick Fury, the films were to be determined. The fact that Gadot has three specific films outlined in her deal tells me that Warner Bros. and DC Comics might actually have a plan in mind after all.
As for those who doubt Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, I really liked he in the Fast & Furious movies and think she proved she could pull off the action. Sure, she may not have the assets of someone like Lynda Carter, but I think she can do it.
