After much anticipation, the world premiere of the Kick-Ass 2 trailer has finally corrupted the internet. The 2010 film was one of my top favorites of that year. Matthew Vaughan brought incredible energy to the twisted tale and also elevated it with his own signature style. Even though Vaughan has stepped down from the directing duties, it appears most of the same energy is still maintained for the sequel. Check out the crazy new RED BAND TRAILER below!
One of the major highlights for me is Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars and Stripes. This is the type of role I’ve been waiting for him to do for years now. Finally, no more Mr. Popper’s Penguins. Also, Chloe Moretz is all grown up and looking dangerous as ever in her Hit Girl role. Needles to say, this trailer is kick ass!
