On that note, Marvel Phase 3 has officially begun production!
Edgar Wright has finally ended his promotional run for The World’s End, and without taking a breath of fresh air, the director is back in Los Angeles gearing up work for Marvel’s Ant-Man. The news broke earlier today as Edgar Wright posted a photo with the following tweet… ““Now I’m back in LA. It’s high time to finish a little something I’ve been working on…”
Here is the image he tweeted below!
No one is quite certain whether this is a past production photo from the footage that was shown at Comic-Con 2012, or if it’s a recent image for a possible post-credit sequence in a movie like Thor: The Dark World. No matter what it implies, this means Edgar Wright is now hard at work on the long awaited Ant-Man movie. You may now applaud!
Until Summer 2014, we’ll have plenty to keep us entertained until Hank Pym makes his big screen premiere. We still have James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy, which will incorporate a machine gun crazy raccoon. Not to mention Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier which are both vastly approaching release. Then there is Avengers: Age of Ultron which will rock audiences two months before Ant-Man strikes. It’s hard to believe this all started with Iron Man just a few years ago.
