The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug trailer is here and it looks simply amazing. Visually, this movie looks so incredible on my computer screen that I just need to find a movie it is playing before just to see it up on the big screen again.

Plus, The Desolation of Smaug trailer gives us our first taste of the voice of Smaug the Dragon (Benedict Cumberbatch). As a fan of Sherlock, is also makes me kind of excited to see Sherlock Holmes voicing the dragon that is menacing Dr. Watson’s Bilbo Baggins.

As for the quality of the trailer itself, this one actually has me more excited about the upcoming movie than the trailers for the first Hobbit, so that is also a plus.
