We all remember Andrea from Walking Dead, right? It appears that actress Laurie Holden is now moving on to greener pastures. Well, “dumber” actually.
The cleverly titled Dumb and Dumber To— I sh*t you not– will focus on Harry and Lloyd’s interactions with a dysfunctional family. How exactly they get roped into the conflict isn’t yet known. However, Holden is confirmed to play a villainous housewife who is out to poison her husband, in hopes of starting a new life with another man. Hmmm… Sounds familiar to another Farrelly Brothers movie.
Yep, I thought so.
I really hope this isn’t going to end up as a Three Stooges rehash with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. The Farrelly Brothers have dropped in quality since the early 2000’s and I would love to see this Dumb and Dumber sequel bring back the charm they used to incorporate in their comedies. I’m a huge fan of Dumb and Dumber and I would love to see an inspired comedic sequel to the ridiculous original.
Either way, Holden is a solid choice for an evil housewife. She has that dangerous look about her that will play to her benefit.
