As part of the worldwide Geek Week, Marvel released a new look at the upcoming Thor sequel with another Thor The Dark World trailer.

The trailer sounds a lot like the description of the trailer that Tom Hiddleston introduced at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, with the Warriors Three threatening to kill Loki if he betrays them, and Thor fighting a rock giant one-on-one. We don’t get to see very much of the villains of the new movie, but seeing that Loki became the breakout star of the Avengers, it’s understandable that they’d feature him as much as possible.
I also enjoyed Jane referencing Loki’s attack on New York City. It reminds me of how they name-dropped Tony Stark in the trailers for the first Thor film. It helps keep the MCU connected, and gives just a hint of how the average person on Earth feels about Loki.
Thor: The Dark World arrives in theaters on November 8th, 2013.
