Looks like the pairing of Denzel and Mark Wahlberg provided enough star power to propel a 2 Guns box office win for the weekend. The film took first place at the box office this weekend with $27.3M.
The Wolverine is still hanging on by his claws, coming in second with a weekend take of about $22M, bringing its total to $95M. The Smurfs 2 was in third place, and the well-received spooker The Conjuring is proving it has staying power, landing in fourth place and collecting an impressive $108M so far in theaters. Despicable Me 2 also keeps on chugging, rounding out the weekend top five and earning an impressive $326.6M in cinemas.
