One of Renegade Cineam’s favorite actors is Michael Biehn. Whether it is his performances in Terminator, Aliens, Tombstone, or the recently released Sushi Girl, the guy is aces. Now, Biehn has signed on to a new horror movie called Severed Connection.
Biehn has been redefining his career lately, starting his own production company with his wife Jennifer Blanc-Biehn. Their first movie under the new banner was The Victim, a wonderful throwback Grindhouse effort, and their next is called Treachery, which should be out soon. I talked to Biehn and his lovely wife last year and he seemed to be having a great time with this new phase of his career.
This new movie is not part of Biehn’s production label though, as its through his other acting gigs that he is able to make the money to be able to work on his passion projects. His wife Jennifer will also star with him in the film.
The movie tells the story of a man and woman who wake up trapped in a remote location. UFC’s Krzysztof Soszynski, Nick Bateman (Hobo with a Shotgun) and Cody Hackman also star.
Severed Connection will be released in 2014.
