Kevin Feige has his secrets (like the Marvel Phase 3 movies), but he also likes to give out teasers and let fans in on some of what Marvel has planned. One of these things is Daredevil. We told you a few days ago about Marvel’s thoughts on doing something with Daredevil and The Punisher. Now, Feige hints that Daredevil might be coming sooner than we might have thought.

“Daredevil is back at Marvel, and there are lots of talented people figuring out what to do with him next. We love Daredevil, there are amazing stories — the Bendis run over 5 or 6 years, running into a Brubaker run was amazing. All sorts of things before that era we could use — so I think you can bet on seeing SOMETHING from Daredevil in the not to distant future.”

The “Not too Distant Future.” That is exciting. I don’t think there will be another Daredevil movie anytime soon, at least not until 2017 at the earliest. That is not that soon for me, so I think they are looking at something else.

We already told you that Marvel has four TV series and a miniseries, in addition to Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, in the works. With Daredevil a little more mature subject matter, the fact that Marvel is talking Netflix as a possibility is something to keep in mind too.

Is Marvel planning on turning Daredevil into a TV show or a Netflix miniseries? Could we see the Bendis, Brubaker or maybe even Frank Miller Daredevil turn into a Netflix series? That is something I could really get behind.
