I’d have to say Return of the King because it has better action while also not having the long periods of screen time where nothing happens like the first two movies. It also doesn’t possess the feeling of being good but unnecessary like the Hobbit movies.
I loved the Desolation of Smaug. The filming for it was just amazingly good, and the whole plot was just great! Thank you! :)
