Gravity opened up huge at the box office this weekend, bringing in over $55M in ticket sales, a record for the month of October. (Read Derick’s Renegade Review here.) The other major release newcomer Runner Runner didn’t fare nearly as well, taking in only $7.6M at the #3 spot. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs slipped to 2nd with $21.5M, a 37% drop from its opening weekend. The full weekend box office top ten is below.
