We’ve been hearing quite a lot of casting news for X-Men recently. First there was the announcement regarding Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, and Ellen page reprising their roles from the first three movies. Then we learned that Peter Dinklage would be playing a villain.
One of the few holdouts in all this news was that of Halle Berry reprising her role as Storm. However, in a recent interview with Black Tree TV, she confirms that she’s officially signed on.
I think that this is great news for the new movie. Storm has been missed from the most recent X-Men movies. She is by far one of the most important characters that ever joined Xavier’s team, and it would really be a shame to have to wait longer than seven years to see Storm back on the big screen again. I just hope they give her some better dialogue, and some good material.
