NOS4A2 returns to AMC television this year, but thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, the release date has been pushed back.

Initially, the adaptation of Joe Hill’s novel was supposed to premiere its second season on June 1. However, thanks to the lack of filming anything new, Deadline reports that AMC has moved things around.

Instead, the new anthology series Creepshow, based partially on the work of Hill’s father, Stephen King, is getting an extended run.

Creepshow will now air over six weeks instead of the original three AMC planned. Each night was supposed to have back-to-back episodes, and now all six episodes will get its own week. The show will air from May 4 (at 10/9c) through June 8.

This pushed back NOS4A2, which will now debut on June 21 at 9/8c on AMC. Just as before, the horror series will simulcast on both BBC America and AMC.

Creepshow will include episodes with stories by Stephen King, Joe Hill, Joe R. Lansdale, and Josh Malerman, among others.

Season 2 of NOS4A2 picks up exactly where the first season ended, with Vic (Ashleigh Cummings) setting out to try to destroy the evil Charlie Manx (Zachary Quinto) once and for all. Fans who missed the first season can stream it through AMC or Hulu.
