Blood Valley: Seed’s Revenge is the sequel to the horror flick Seed. The original Seed told the story of Max Seed, a convicted killer sentenced to death via electric chair, only the chair doesn’t kill him and he returns from the grave to exact revenge on those who tried to have him killed.
This time around, Christine and her friends are returning from a bachelorette party when they come across a mysterious woman who leads them straight into Max Seed’s trap. Seeking revenge from a mishap years ago, Max Seed is determined to inflict excruciating pain to anyone he comes across.
There are some good parts to this movie. It delivers some gruesome deaths and it has a fantastic scene that makes the film watchable, but there are a lot of negatives as well. The acting is stiff, the dialogue poor, camera work shaky, plot predictable and random nonsensical religious references that make the film laughable. The worst part of the movie is the editing which causes the movie to lose some momentum. One moment someone is being slashed and the next the girls are discussing the impending wedding.
If you’re looking for some laughs and some bloody deaths in a horror flick this could fit the bill, but the predictably and editing could ruin a fun night with friends and leave you disappointed.
