This week’s Entertainment Weekly magazine has some great new photos from the upcoming Robert Rodriguez film Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. The movie, a sequel to the fantastic Sin City, brings back a large number of cast members, and since this is a prequel, that includes Mickey Rourke.
The new Sin City movie will be much like the first one, telling a number of different stories. However, the main story in the movie is based on the story of the same name, a Noir tale of a woman (Eva Green) who calls in Dwight (Josh Brolin replaces Clive Owen in this one, which makes sense because in the comics Dwight got a face lift to change his appearance between the two stories) to help her. As expected in a Film Noir, she is a femme fatale and Dwight finds his life in danger once again.
The following photos have images of Josh Brolin, Eva Gree, Jessica Alba, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Mickey Rourke, Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller. Also starring in the movie is Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson, Stacy Keach, Ray Liotta, Jeremy Piven, Christopher Meloni, Dennis Haysbert and Jaime King. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For hits theaters on Aug. 22.
