Well, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson said that he was meeting with DC Comics and Warner Bros about a big time upcoming movie role. Some thought it might have been one of his old rumored roles (Lobo, Black Atom), I supposed it was for one of DC’s smaller upcoming movies, but most people assumed that The Rock would play the John Stewart version of The Green Lantern.
Well, if The Rock’s Instagram account is any indication, he will be playing The Green Lantern. Well, the photo was put up 3 months ago, but IGN pointed it out today and with all the rumors that he could be joining a DC Comics franchise, could this older photo by a clue?

So, while the photo is old, the fact is that The Rock threw this out and there is no telling how long he has been talking to Warner Bros. Obviously, he has wanted to play in a comic book movie for a long time, and there is a good chance that a John Stewart role could have been brewing for months now.
