WWE Monday Night Raw on Feb. 3 opens with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton coming to the ring. Orton said he thinks The Authority has plans to strip him of his title. After he called himself the best wrestler of this generation or any generation, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon came out.
They stayed at the top of the ramp. Stephanie told Orton not to bite the hand that feeds him. Triple H said all of Orton’s whining does not sound like the Face of the WWE and maybe they should put their faith in someone else. Stephanie said that each week from now to The Elimination Chamber, Orton will face each of his opponents one-on-one. Tonight is the first one and Stephanie said she might consider him the next Face of the WWE as Triple H led a “Yes” chant.
The Shield came out next. They faced Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston. Interestingly, despite the fact that Big E is the Intercontinental Champion, only Mysterio got his entrance shown on television. JBL made mention that Dean Ambrose may be the longest reigning champion in the WWE, but he never defends the title. The end came when Roman Reigns set up for the spear but Dean Ambrose tagged himself in and hit Big E with the front face DDT to pin the IC Champion.
Roman was mad at Ambrose but then the lights went out and The Wyatt Family showed up on the Titan Tron. Bray said that The Shield are just pawns, moving forward with the only goal to sacrifice themselves for their king. Then Luke Harper said that The Shield didn’t realize that “he” was always their king. Then Erick Rowan told them to “run.”
Bad News Barrett was out next to say the people who ate junk food during the Super Bowl might not be around next year for the next Super Bowl. Jerry “The King” Lawler interrupted and said he had bad news and maybe Barrett wouldn’t be around next week.
Christian was out next to face Jack Swagger. Christian picked up the win with a roll up.
A steel cage match is next for the WWE World Tag Team Championship with The New Age Outlaws defending their belts against Cody Rhodes and Goldust. While the match is in a steel cage, the winner has to be by pinfall or submission. The match was great and the end of the match came when Cody hit the moonsault from the top of the steel cage but Billy Gunn followed up and hit the Fameasser to win for the Outlaws.
In the next match, Titus O’Neil fought his first match since breaking up the Prime Time Players by beating Zack Ryder. During the match, The Miz came out, grabbed a headset and asked why a generic villain and a fake Internet champion gets on WWE Monday Night Raw and he can’t, before walking off.
The WWE next honored The Big Cat Ernie Ladd for Black History Month.

Up next, Fandango came out with Summer Rae. After that, Santino came out and called Emma from NXT out of the audience and challenged Summer Rae to a dance contest. Emma did her strange dance moves and beat Summer Rae in the fan voting.
Sheamus came out next for his first singles match since returning and his opponent was Curtis Axel. Sheamus won with the Brogue Kick. There were chants for CM Punk during the match.
Batista came out next and the fans still don’t seem completely happy with him. Before Batista could talk, Alberto Del Rio came out and interrupted him. Del Rio said they have unfinished business. Batista said he has not problems with Del Rio but Alberto shut him down and said that while Batista was out waiting for his Hollywood agent to call him, Alberto Del Rio was winning championships. Batista said again he had no problems with Del Rio so Alberto sucker punched him and beat him down. When Batista came back, Del Rio ran.
The next match was a six-man tag team match with Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth and Xavier Woods taking on The Wyatt Family. The Wyatt Family won when Bray Wyatt pinned Dolph Ziggler after the Sister Abigail. After that, The Shield came on the Titan Tron and said that they don’t believe in The Wyatt Family’s monsters and haunted rocking chairs and this is The Shield’s yard. Bray responded by laughing and saying he welcomed this war.
A promo for NXT star Alexander Rusev was next.
Naomi took on Aksana in the next match, and AJ Lee came down to do color commentary. She then called Naomi the best of all the Divas challengers. She also blamed Tamina for the tag team losses where AJ was pinned by Naomi. This match was won by Naomi.
The main event was next with Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan. The match was amazing. Daniel Bryan dominated the first 10 minutes or so and took out Orton’s legs. Orton took over after that and worked over Bryan’s arm, but Bryan wouldn’t give up. Both men looked great and both looked like they could have won. The match ended when Kane ran down, but Bryan saw him coming and kicked him off the ring apron and then sent Orton outside the ring. Bryan dove onto both men, threw Orton back in the ring and then sent Kane into the ring steps. When Bryan went back in, Orton went for the RKO but Bryan reversed out of it and hit the Big Knee to pin Randy Orton.
After the match, Orton and Kane attacked Daniel Bryan and then Kane choke slammed him to end this episode of WWE Monday Night Raw.
