It’s time to kill those War Machine rumors. With the genre of superhero movies more popular than ever before, there have been a lot of new questions being asked for the filmmakers and the studios executives. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently gave an interview with Collider. One of the things that they asked him about was whether there was anyone currently working on solo movies for ‘Falcon’ and ‘War Machine.’ Feige answered with a simple “No.”

Granted, that doesn’t mean that we won’t eventually get to see the two characters with their own films. It just means that we won’t get to see them soon. After all, Marvel does have an extremely full plate right now. Iron Man 3 just debuted, Thor 2 will follow this fall, and Captain America 2  is currently filming and will arrive next year, and Ant-Man still needs to happen as well. While all of those movies are currently in production, they’re also having some really big money issues right now with the Avengers cast.  The last thing on their minds right now is making spin-off films for some of the smaller characters.

While I recognize that Marvel has a full plate now, I can’t help but feel a little bit disappointed. Both of those characters are good enough to hold their own solo movies, especially if Don Cheadle and Anthony Mackie are the men to bring them to life.

What do you think about this news? Are you disappointed that we will have to wait to get solo movies for those two characters? Why don’t you just tell us what you think in the comments below?
