Star Trek Into Darkness clipBack in December, Paramount released a 9 minute prologue for Star Trek Into Darkness in front of IMAX screenings of The Hobbit. Now, less than 2 weeks before the mega release, the internet finally gets a brief glimpse of what was shown. The footage shows Spock putting himself at risk in the midst of a volcano.

I got the chance to see the entire sequence in IMAX last December and it was crazy intense on the format. Even though this is just 40 seconds of the same footage, it’s still worth checking out because it doesn’t spoil a thing. One thing is for sure, Spock is still a badass. Would you put yourself inside a volcano? Yeah, me neither.
